Beijing mall builds a VW Passat-a-bot Transformer

With advent of the Transformers movies we have become engrossed in seeing and making vehicles with dual identities. Autobots: Robots that alter into vehicles and then vehicles back into robots, like this Volkswagen Passat transforming into a robot that was made in China. While we will take a breather, there isn’t any guarantee about the Chinese for whom the Transformers obsession is bound to stay. Companies in China, drawing force from the Transformers success, are using autobots to push their own business and in event, a Beijing mall has built a VW Passat-a-bot to popularize their recently-opened movie theater. Makes it worth a glance, I say.
