In the league of all service oriented robots, pops up a novel duty robot that begs around the streets and stores. Begging has been a man’s folklore; while most are forced a majority takes it for an easy way out of poverty. But the Beggar Robot betters all forms of human begging intellect with its access to off-limit areas to beggars – reaching well within the affluent inhabited departmental stores and communities. The robotic beggar made in scrap computer parts and metal junk has that mechanical gadget robe adorned, which makes it popular with the geeky public despite the fact that it is in the chore of begging which when humans undertake, we so heinously condemn. Communicating via a technological interface, begging in the name of the poor, the Beggar Robot has been tried in public spaces in different countries where it has adapted well with local context and local language. Check out the video for more details and/or to see the bot begging.
