The agreement will enable the users of Azureus' Zudeo Software to download some BBC content.

Until now most of the programmes of BBC that were on file sharing sites were illegal copies. BBC has also commented that the drive will be approachable by a wide variety of audience.

About Azureus:

Azureus is renowned for the BitTorrent program that allows large media files to be shared over the internet. The company has also launched a video sharing site earlier this month. The site similar to YouTube boasts of a distinct feature that allows high quality download of various videos that are uploaded.
