Gary Reid, die hard do-it-yourself auto enthusiast from Las Vegas is always in the quest to leave people amazed with his inventions. This time, this ingenious mind has come up with the idea of developing battery-powered trike named Wind Jammer. Renowned hot rod builder Ed "Big Daddy" who uses turbines to generate electricity for his home was the source of inspiration for Reid behind his invention.

The stylized battery-powered electric buggy will help solve the world's petroleum-dependent problems and is expected to appeal to the eco-conscious people. Reid’s wife Royina gave the name to this eco trike that is solely charged by wind turbine. The turbine is placed at the vehicle's rear and will create energy when the Wind Jammer is in motion and be raised up to 10 feet for collecting power when the vehicle is not moving and is parked.
The Wind Jammer employs 9-inch motor powered by 144 volts and weighs less than 1,000 pounds that’s one-third of the stock truck. Reid anticipates that the Wind Jammer will get at least 100 miles per charge. Reid and his wife Royina have great hopes from this eco-chic buggy that harnesses wind.
