Designed by the military for special operations soldiers, Bat hook is a simple plug-in charger, but with a different design and a different way of charging. A hook with razor blade is attached to one side of the cord and all you have to do is hang this side of the cord on the nearest power line. Once you do so, the blade will pierce the power line and will bring the power juice down to your cell phone and may be even cars .i.e to the other side of the cord. The best part is you do not have to worry about being electrocuted in the rain, it works well even while it is pouring outside.

However, one thing that needs to be taken care of is that it works on low voltage 90-260 VAC, duplex or triplex lines (off the transformer) and on a variety of wire sizes. But, it comes with a warning and a bad news. The bad news is that it has been especially designed for special operation soldiers, so that they can charge their radio batteries in the time of need. So, you will have to give up the hope of using it normally. And, the warning is never throw something over power lines. Jump on for the explanatory video.
