Barnes & Noble unveils Nook e-reader with color touch screen for just $249
Just in time for the holiday season Barnes & Noble Inc. has unveiled a new Nook e-reader. The Nook color which can be used for reading digital books, magazines, newspapers and children's books features a stunning 7-inch Vivid View Color touch-screen, built in Wi-Fi connection, 8GB of space and runs on Google’s android operating system. It also has an exclusive LendMe App which lets you lend and borrow favorite books from friends along with a virtual bookmark, crossword puzzles, Sudoku, chess and Pandora internet radio.
The user can avail from an entire range of high-quality accessories to enhance their NOOK color experience. These include covers crafted of materials from European book cloth to full-grain Italian leather. The Nook Color e-reader is priced at $249 USD.
