We have come across quite a few brew-carrying bots in recent times. While some (like the Motoman Robobar) blew our senses away with their sophistication, others just managed to draw a smile of appreciation. We aren’t sure how we would categorize the Bar2D2 bartender robot, which does look cool but not quite state-of-the-art. Primarily an automatic dispensing machine for beer bottles, cans, etc., the Bar2D2 apparently can mix pretty well too. Built with an electric chair bottom, the bot is not bad at making small talk either, thanks to its R2-D2 voice module.

Pricing and Availability: We aren’t really sure if this bot is up for sale. Perhaps, giving Jamie Price a call could fetch you some additional details.

Watch This: It is always cool to have a bot around, serving you drinks. With an 8-hour hold-up time for every charge, the remote-controlled Bar2D2 is worth a second look.
