Traveling with your kids can be arduous, especially if they are keen on troubling you time and again. ToyToyota has launched its first iPhone-based app called Backseat Driver. This new application will keep those troubling kids engaged and teach them about the important landmarks in the way. Backseat Driver uses GPS to create a virtual path that is similar to the actual traveled path. In this, your car will be portrayed as a 'Papa Car' and will be chased by the player.

The application also features a navigation system called Motion Sensing. In addition, Papa car will drop various objects at landmarks that exist in real life. A player can collect these objects and earn points. These points can then be used to modify the car. Users can share their routes via social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter. Online rankings are given to players based on the points earned and the distance traveled. The traveled route is saved automatically that you can even revisit later. Though, the game is developed for kids, it can be used to tackle relatives who insist on driving.
