The Stan Meyer’s Dune Buggy ran on the concept of ‘On board electrolysis, no hydrogen tanks, just water‘. The vehicle ran astoundingly 100 miles per gallon. Stan had patented the innovative concept and military was going to use it in its tanks, jeeps etc. He said that he was offered billion dollars to basically shelf his idea by an Arab while he denied the proposal by saying that he had developed the technology for the laymen.
