AXION flaunts portable DVD players with digital TV tuner
With so many portable DVD players hitting the market every day it becomes difficult for buyers to choose the best suited to them. Latest innovations and technology has turned the DVD players in to mini TVs on the lines of notebooks.
AXION has come up with its latest 10-inch AXN5109TN and 7-inch AXN6705T, portable DVD players with the integrated digital TV tuner to be introduced in the Japanese market on December 20th.
As far as the AXN5109TN is concerned, it flaunts 1Seg Digital TV tuner, weighs 1.2kg, can crack JPEGs for you, an external analog tuner for capturing legacy terrestrial broadcasts and offers 2.5-hours of continual playback that isn't up to the mark, whereas, AXN6705T includes a remote control, built-in analogue TV tuner and RCA inputs.
Apart from the tuner technology, commonly, both players are capable of running DVDs, VCDs, MP3s, MPEG-4 video and offer 800×480 pixel resolution. Suggested price for the 10-inch AXN5109TN is about ¥38,000 ($322).
