Scrap metal art is fast growing in stature. Just a few days ago, we showed you someone's take on the infamous Captain Jack Sparrow, with a gloriously designed 2.7 meter tall statue of our favorite pirate. We have another such replica in Lewisham, South London. It, however, is a bit more intimidating than Jack Sparrow. This is an 8-foot tall statue of one of the most iconic alien monsters of all time - The Predator.

It's interesting to note that nobody knows where this scrap metal monster actually originated from, but, for the moment, its ownership is claimed by the people at Alladin's Cave, something of a curio shop at Lewisham, and they put the 8-foot beast on display every morning to scare off some visitors and intrigue others. The work and attention to detail is quite astonishing. Some over-imaginative passersby would probably see it and think the apocalypse was on us. But rest assured, it is incapable of killing you. Or moving. We think.
For those who wish to take this work of art home, there isn't a clear-cut price-tag yet; however, starting it with their bid, prospect buyers need to haggle with the owners for sure to settle it out. Nothing short of a few thousand quid will do. If you can't afford to take it home, you can always click a few pictures with it, but you're warned not to touch it. Possibly because it might rip your head off in return. We can't be sure.
