To facilitate risk takers especially those who work under intense dangers like mine workers, Tanizawa has unveiled their new generation of hi-tech helmets, called U-met, for workforce at the Japan Wireless Show 2007.

The helmets will hit our shelves in two versions, A and B.

Version ‘A’ offers W-CDMA (FOMA) card, built-in telephone, GPS, RFID chip, built-in camera for real time audio and video informations to react according to the situation instantly.

Whereas, version ‘B’ comes with vibrating system, Talkie Walkie, solar pannels and LED for simplified visualization.

The helmet weighs 1kg but offers only 4hrs juice by using its batteries. No info about price and availability.
