Autonomous climbing robot Bioloid knows its way up the wall

After the robot that jumps over just anything, and the geckobot we’ve seen some time back, developer at the Technical University of Dortmund in collaboration with others from the University of Manitoba have developed a robot that scales walls on its own. Christened the Bioloid, the German made autonomous robot is way to0 intelligent. Like the other robots the Bioloid doesn’t follow pre-programmed motion sequences, instead like all rock climbers, finds the easiest route to the top of the wall based on the X / Y positions of the grips. There is not much to explain, the video below is self-explanatory of the robot.
