Tired of trying your hands with the computer in a game of chess? Now, here is a robot from Russia, designed to play chess and frequently beat you at it. The robot’s ability to recognize the human moves comes from the same source that perhaps the famous Russian chess player Alexandra Kostenuk enjoyed – the maestro’s father. Engineered to beat the best in the game, the bot’s been embedded with the latest technological advancements in artificial intelligence and robotics. The autonomous robot can play in all forms of the game, and is equally efficient in capability at the fastest version of the game, clicking move per move on the chess clock. Finally, after years of engineering and labor a robot that can independently beat Vishwanathan Anand over a game of chess has been born.
