Augmented Reality tattoo transforms barcode into a flying dragon

Augmented Reality is coming to our homes faster than ever before. Even if it is in form of unusual applications, it sure is impressive. Case in point, this Augmented Reality tattoo developed by Think an App in Buenos Aires. The tattoo may not be outrightly appealing, because it is only a barcode tattooed on to the arm, but when this is viewed through a camera, the barcode transforms into a 3D animation of a flying dragon. The transformation here is made possible by a software developed by the company to recognize AR barcode on curved surfaces and it’s pretty much exciting to know that if the technique can be used on a larger scale the application can be many.
