ATI Radeon HD 4890 GPU, the first 1GHz graphics processor

Stepping on the gas for ultimate horsepower, AMD has sped past the previously achieved 850MHz and has reached, factory overlocked of course, the world best 1GHz in its latest Radeon HD 4890 graphics processor. Owing to the facets the GPU is compatible with Windows, will deliver a splendid 1.6 Teraflops of computing power and all this with the same cooling fans like the other chipsets from AMD. There's been no formal naming of who will be selling the 1GHz variant, but it goes without guessing that all will be in the heed to slip their name in. Video of the graphics processor after the jump.
