Asus To Launch Eee PC 1000: The Subnotebook War Wages On!

The war in the subnotebook space wages on. Not one to rest on its laurels or for that matter, let the recent launch of the Eee PC 901 turn into a Hare-Tortoise scenario, Asus is looking to further strengthen its market stronghold by announcing the release of the Eee PC 1000 in early June. Taking the MSI Wind head-on, the new PC 1000 will feature a 10inch screen. Asus' new product will debut at Computex 2008 in Taipei, which will kick-off on June 3rd, and the subnotebook will be showcased along with the PC 901. Further details about the PC 1000's features are awaited.
