Since we witnessed the MacBook Air, a race to cut pounds and some skin of the laptops and netbooks has heated a great deal. Almost all big players in the portable PC market have tried their hands at the venture once, and now it is Asus that’s taken the theme to itself. Announcing at CeBIT, the Asus Eee PC 1008HA (formally known as the Eee PC shell), which is a modest 10-inch netbook, only 1-inch thick weighing about 2.4 pounds, but featuring a nice large keyboard and touchpad.
The 1008HA is only first Asus netbook to feature the Asus Eee Docking application bar that allows the user to access the Eee Sharing utility. It is also assumed that Asus is officially launching the device here at CeBIT itself; therefore we will keep ourselves busy looking for the other specs and details.
