ASUS will debut the world’s first notebook with a mammoth 512GB SSD at CES. A solid state drive capable of holding large amounts of data will make the notebook more rugged and faster. Carrying a notebook with SSD is definitely much better than lugging those with a conventional hard disk, but then it could have implications on the cost of the notebook. The 12.2-inch notebook has an Atom Z520 processor with an ASUS Super Hybrid Engine and weighs just 3 lbs.
