If you want to experience virtual technology at its best, attend the International Conference on Virtual Reality in Laval, western France where Japan virtual tech geeks are demonstrating their magical world of 'Device Art' that invites spectators to make their fancies come true virtually in the form of art.

Alain Grumbach, a virtual reality specialist, says:
Virtual reality opens up a whole new space, where the work of art becomes dynamic, where the artist is no longer unique. Spectators derive emotion from the images, but also from the possibility they have of changing the course of those images.
The 'Wet-Free Water', developed by the Nara institute of science and technology, Japan, create an illusion on the screen that you're dipping spoon into a bowl, which, in fact is empty. Also there're 'Kobito Virtual Brownies' to take you by surprise. Don't call it magic, it's technology, it's virtual reality or rather, just reality, which we're slowly encountering in its real form now.
