Art Lebedev delivers a stunner with Optimus Popularis

Behold this stunner, Optimus Popularis from Art Lebedev. This keyboard, unlike others but like Optimus Maximus will have screens on every key, but this time the the keys will have ‘as much screen real estate as possible”, which means the screens will cover the entire key, possibly and assumedly. A wide widget screen covers the ground between function keys and number keys. Without the numeric keypad section, the keyboard comes in a compact form. It also has a special key called Fn key in the lower left corner, which transforms the right part of the keyboard into page-up, number lock keys and numbers arranged in a familiar calculator layout. It is expected to be shipped at the end of this year and it is expected to be priced at somewhere less than 1000$. However, the pre-orders will start later in this year.
