Researchers have discovered that there are fundamental flaws in the new age microchips that make hacking an extremely easy task.

The team of researchers led by German cryptology expert Jean-Pierre Seifert has discovered that the new age chips are manufactured to process data quickly and on the mission they sacrifice the security factor.

This endangers the user’s confidential information as it can now easily be hacked using a technique known as ‘Branch Prediction Analysis’. This makes it easier for the hackers as they will only need a small piece of spy software that tracks microchips.

In a confidential study these researchers were able to obtain the key of a 512-bit encryption algorithm in few thousandths of a second in their very first attempt.
