Apple's Showtime: iTunes 7 Announced With iTunes Movie Store

As we were expecting the release of the iTunes 7 from the Apple Showtime, so it happened. Apple upgraded the iTunes version to version 7 i.e. iTunes 7 along with the announcement of iTunes movie store.

The significant changes made in the upgraded version of iTunes are:

The iTunes 7 logo has been colored blue this time instead of green.

The CD icon is brighter than the earlier version.

Album and Cover flow views.

The new iTunes will now offer movies starting at $9.99 and more than 200 TV shows costing $1.99 per episode.

Surround sound for audio in the movies.

Video will be streamed at 640x480 resolutions.

Free missing album cover art for all the music in your library if you own an iTunes account.

You can update your iPod from right inside iTunes now, you don't need to go to Preferences.

Addition of movies to the iTunes store including films with Disney, Pixar, Touchstone, and Miramax.
