Hardly a few days have passed after the launch of Apple TV and the hackers have already made it to run XviD video formats. Now, hackers have operated with the device a bit more. In the process, Apple TV was hooked up to the MacBook for a little small screen viewing and the whole thing needs only a piece to Apple TV's 'Finder.app' and copying some files from the Apple TV to the MacBook. In another hack, Apple TV was made to boot simply from a USB drive. The technique requires you to install a replica of the Apple TV operating system on the drive and then hooking it up and pushing a button on the remote as the device boots. So, it shows that Apple TV can certainly be hacked for some simpler application without the need to crack it open.
