There has been a rumor that Apple is planning to release an 8-core Mac Pro in January. Moreover the 4-core line of Mac Pro can be made available at a lower price point.
AppleInsider has also indicated that the company has developed the systems and they are expecting a release during January. The company has not released any detailed specifications of the upgraded systems.
The rumor also includes the release of refreshed displays. These displays will be integrated with built-in iSights and may be they will also support HDMI.
The exact timing of these events is not yet known but stay tuned for more information on the rumor...!
