Apple patents pico projector that’ll find way into iPhone and MacBook
According to patentlyApple, Apple has filed a patent for a pico projector that could find place in all Apple products ranging from iPhone to MacBook. There isn’t an actual certainty to how, therefore it is believed that either it could be a dedicated pico projector that connects to the Apple devices, with would act as controllers for it, or it could be integrated into the devices, which opens room for iPhone and others to be built-in with projectors.
The patent also discusses a projector “in some cases” with a wireless router inside allowing it to act as a hub, so here it hints of setting up many devices together. If Apple can work this patent out, then we’re definitely looking into a future of quick presentations just anywhere. Though, it may take long before we have projectors built into the iPhone, there are a few cellphones with projectors out there, reason I think Apple would be wasting no more time and we’d certainly see them hurrying on this one.
