patent 090611 3
Personal trainers and sensors that assist in tracking the status of your workout and provide feedback of the same have become a common site. The fitness frenzy world certainly needs a lot more of them, a notion that perhaps has ignited the minds at Apple who’ve filled a patent (discovered by AppleInsider) to develop an activity sensor to help the extreme sportsmen record their agility factors such as the air time, speed, power and energy when they are skiing, skateboarding or mountain biking. The patent is 41 pages long and has a date of about four months back. The patent makes evident that the sensor will have a display for user benefit, with buttons for easy controls, and also the battery for the device will be built in. Three remotely located Apple engineers have been at the task and we could expect the prototypes soon.
