Life is getting less personal each passing day, and people find less time to spend with friends and family, thereby leaving them amid personal electronics to call their best friend. Stretching upon this, Apple has filed a patent request for a unique head tracking display technology which would replicate the theater experience for the users. This “automatically adjusting media display in a personal display system,” will be a head-tracking eyewear giving the user an impression of being in a theater or a real world milieu, all in the comfort of his personal environ.
What’s innovative:
The personal display device would supposedly be a pair of goggles, something like we have seen before – however, with a distinguishing factor wherein, the device with built-in gyroscope and accelerometer would react to the head and eye movement of the user, defining the course of an image based on the user’s gaze.
Watch this:
There are cases where patents never make it to the production phase, and there isn’t any evidence yet on whether Apple would have its patent hit production. But we read that the patent does include provisions to frame the device in a way to reduce eyestrain with quality zoom in and out facility - so keep those fingers crossed, fellows!
