Expectations of all those who were desperately waiting for Apple to present its new video iPod have been thwarted as Apple has delayed its launch owing to problems encountered with the display and touch-screen interface, as per think secret. We were expecting Apple to release it on the eve of its 30th birthday, but the cake was sliced without any blast from the video iPod trumpet.
Rumors have been thronging the net since December last year but Apple has not revealed its true video iPod intentions. All we know is that along with the wide-screen display across the whole front, the new iPod will have touch screen interface, billed as a “virtual track wheel” by Apple.
The video iPod will perhaps parallel the release of feature-length movies at iTunes, which too is still in the kitty. But we can definitely expect to grab it in Q4, as per reports.
