The latest version of WhiteBook, as reported by AppleInsider has landed into the market for $1499 configured with 1GB of RAM and an 80GB drive. However, Apple is observing a fringe with the standard 2GHz BlackBook with "MacBook Ultimate".

Though there was, the option of furnishing a 1.83 GHz WhiteBook with 80GB hard drive by now, but the fact that Apple is offering a free upgrade to 2GHz core duo processor is certainly luring.
