Apple iPhone 4’s new FaceTime feature was touted as a aid for the hard-of-hearing and the people who cannot speak to use it for communication via sign language. Now, to actually use the iPhone 4’s front facing camera for the purpose, Apple and AT&T have tied up with ZVRS to bring video relay service with iZ software to help, hard-of-hearing, dumb and even blind to communicate with people in real-time via sign language. The iZ software will be released on July 26, though there is no word on how the video relay calls would be made but we are really excited to see how iPhone 4’s technology would let the deaf and dumb communicate using a cellphone.
