Technology reviewers and critics alike have fired the gun at iPad for lack of multitasking and voids in some other aspects. The debate escalates even more as the iPad is being portrayed as a minuscule replacement for Netbooks. In my view iPad is a very different and new concept which belongs to a different league all together. Anyways multi-tasking or no multi-tasking; let me tell you about couple of iPad apps that can plug the multi-tasking puncture hole left unattended (only Steve Jobs would know the reason) by Apple. App developers have come up with the strategy of bundling together 4-5 services into a single app interface to provide a virtual multi-tasking environment on the iPad. This way you can multi-task within the app interface, and the result is that you multi-task on the iPad even with its hardware & firmware limitations. App developers should take a cue from the two apps listed below on how to come up with different combo of services bundled into one.

With Multitasking for iPad you can run Safari webrowser, Twitter and Facebook service all at one time. When one service is running in the foreground, notifications of the other two services in the background are alerted via sound.

Developed by innovPixels, Multitasking Browser app lets you multi-task Twitter, Facebook, Wikipedia and much more in a jiffy. The app is still under development stage with sorting-out of minor bugs & issues and more services will be bundled in the coming version of Multitasking Browser (current version 1.0.1).
