AnywhereUSB to utilize Real Port USB
The first remote networking solution AnywhereUSB will utilize RealPort' USB, Digi's patented USB Over IP' technology. It is compatible with bulk *USB devices like bar code, finger print scanners etc. . The solution will make the process easier to connect USB devices anywhere on the world on a wired or wireless LAN. In the process locally-attached host PCs will not be required and will make it more user-friendly.
There will be five USB ports from the AnywhereUSB/5 which will deliver the same Plug and Play user experience as onboard USB ports. Software drivers will be hosted in a PC or server thus by making remote devices communicating with the host, without making a dent in the already existing application software. Peripheral devices are totally managed and checked from a remote server or PC via an IP address.
