The company’s used touch platform is based on a patented principle of recognition of sound waves in solid objects. The system relies on only two small piezoelectric sensors, a controller and some software, and can be placed on all kinds of materials, especially glass, metal and plastic. Owing to the simplicity and its universality, the multitouch system is not very expensive, in wake of which could be paving the way for cheaper touch sensitive gadgets.
