T-Mobile certainly knows how to get people's attention when it comes to launching their ad campaigns. This particular ad film does capture the essence of what the company wants to convey; that they are a great mobile service provider for Smartphone users, who connect with people around them and enjoy being connected. The company, tactfully, made use of the popular video game 'Angry Birds' to show the connection, which people enjoyed so much.

If you are also a big time addict of Angry Birds, you can feel the ecstasy the people, shown in the ad, are experiencing. In what seems to be a really good ad film, a life-size version of the cult Angry Birds game is controlled by the people, who use their Smartphones, to assume the roles of angry birds and make the pigs explode. The video is edited so beautifully that it is bound to become a viral video.
The ad film makes use of the growing popularity of the game among iPhone and Android phone users, and tries to spread the message across that "Life is for sharing". Perhaps that is exactly why the ad makers chose a public square of Barcelona, which is a symbiotic meeting place, to install the life-size version of Angry Birds. It is, however, not clear if the installation is for real, and is driven by one of the motion sensors, or is it just a clever piece of video editing.
