The New Blackberry Playbook is going to be another addiction amongst "BB" users as it has the capability to run Android apps, apart from HTML5, Flash and AIR support. Now who wouldn't want this baby? It supports Blackberry JAVA and you can run Google Android apps as well. Also it will run these Android apps through something called a "virtual machine" which gives the app a feel as if it was running on an Android phone - it is close to the way MAC runs on Windows via the virtual machine. Because the ability of the Playbook to run Android app makes it a wiser Tablet, with goods from the two worlds, we thought of running doing the pros and the cons this transformation would get for the BlackBerry Playbook users.

Hits:
Now using several applications on the Blackberry App world is made easy because of this Playbook. However, certain technical issues need to be sorted as we hope that RIM has a system that can support the Android code.
All one needs to do is download the Android App Player from the Blackberry App world, this will be a manual process. Once that is done, you can access the system as if you are operating an Android phone.
The addition of BlackBerry JAVA and Android apps on BlackBerry Playbook will provide users with a greater choice of apps and variety of the platform over the BlackBerry App World.
Misses:
A Wi-Fi Playbook will have to be tethered to a BlackBerry for connectivity, because it runs on the new QNX OS unknown to most users the task of accessing Android apps on the PlayBook could become quite a task.
Android Apps will need to run on a special "app player" on the device, it will only support the 2.3 or 3.0 version of the platform that are specifically designed for tablets.
Because of the size, the gadget may face some graphics problems if the app is designed for a relatively smaller screen.
The Android Market is not available on the Playbook. This means that the developers of the concept will have to render their Android Apps to the BlackBerry App World so that they are easily available for the Playbook.
