An official cyborg – Man with head-mounted camera ‘hears colors’

Diagnosed with achromatopsia, 28-year-old Neil Harbisson had only seen the world in black and white, that until he met an angel - Adam Montandon. Adam along with Peter Kese, a Slovenian software developer, developed the eyeborg, a head-mounted camera, which picks up colours and converts them in to sound waves that Harbisson can hear. Harbisson, the first man ever with the ability to hear colors can now see 360 color hues, as well as measure color saturation by adjusting the volume levels. Harbisson is a artist who can paint his world in colors he like now, which initially he could only in either black or white.
