The handheld market is impressively flooded with endless creations lately, and MID is one that never fails to impress us. Such again is this delightful Mobile Internet Device concept, which gives an all new slick makeover to browsing portability. The compact 180 x 80 x 20mm device is designer Jan Rytir’s brainchild that irrespective of the small size makes space for an ultra-wide OLED touchscreen.
Powered by an Intel Atom processor, the seven fancy configurable colored shortcut tabs on the bottom edge of the device add a creative tinge to the entire outfit of the 47-button QWERTY Keyboard, which has built-in stereo speakers and trackball embedded for easy navigation. The MID also embeds two USB ports, an SD card reader, wireless connectivity and audio I/O slot. Every feature is somewhat boasted, but there isn’t a word on how much data the MID can store.
