An iPod Touch with 2MP camera surfaces in Vietnam

We’ve been hearing of the camera enabled iPod touch for some time now, but Apple’s always been silent over it. The newly turned Apple product leak hub (my proclamation) Vietnam has something new in store in respect. The same guys who released the teardown and videos of the iPhone 4G claimed to have laid hands on an iPod touch with a 2MP rear-facing camera. The DVT-1 stamp on the unit states that it’s not a production model, thus we haven’t heard of it yet, but according to Engadget, the serial number lists this unit as a late 2009 third generation iPod touch – that means it’s from the group of iPods that set the ‘iPod touch was getting a camera’ rumor ablaze in the first case. How true is the whole iPod camera thing – well I suggest we wait for the June 7 when Job’s would unveil the iPhone 4G at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference.
