Developers and designers never cease to amaze me with their unique design and elaborate look about them. Well, that is definitely the case with AMD. They have just designed a portable computer that is pretty decent. You can get the computer with three different layouts ranging from $1,500 to $2,300. Here are the specs for the tier three computer which is not bad at all. It has an AMD Phenom X3 8750 2.4 GHz Triple Core processor with 1536 KB L2 Cache 4GB of Forsair DDR2-800 Memory Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H. It supports up to 16GB max. It has an AMD 780G Dual Channel DDR2 Chipset Western Digital Caviar SE16 320 GB 7,200 RPM SATA-II/300 Hard Disk. That supports up to two hard disks. It also comes with a NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT PCIe Graphics w/ 512 MB GDDR3.
As you can see the specs are nice for a portable computer. I believe AMD has hit another ocean with only pure possibilities. They have released a desktop computer that can be carried with you, with ease, anywhere you want to go. Not only that, but it is at an affordable price for everyone. I would definitely label this one a best-buy for a lot of you computer LAN kiddies out there. If you are looking for an easy way to get to a LAN and not have to move your desktop around, well, this might just be for you. Easy, convenient, and it looks pretty cool.
As an added bonus, they even put little side windows so you are able to look in and watch your computer run. This is something I’ve been looking into myself, because it would allow me to blindly stare into my computer when I was bored during the day. Besides, it seems a lot easier to take apart as well.
