Posted By: Bharat BhushanSharma | Mar 3 2009

Are you jaded by the ever similar looking notebooks that have the best tech inside but do the least in their makeovers on the exterior? If it be the day in transition, we have Always Innovating delivering a novelty. Coined the Touch Book, it is a 8.9-inch revolutionary device that functions as both a netbook and a fully-functional tablet PC, owing to a detachable keyboard and a 3D touchscreen user interface it adorns.

Innovator and creator Gregoire Gentil marks the Touch Book as a perfect device for the ailing economic times, wherein this multi-utility netbook with best of open source software and open hardware can double as a gaming rig, a tablet PC and also as a kitchen computer or digital frame sans the detachable keyboard.

The first netbook to be powered by ARM processor, the Touch Book touts a large battery life of 10 to 15 hours. The avidly created netbook with 6 internal USB hubs and fanless, heat-and-noise-free system owes its sleek design to designer Fred Bould’s brilliance. The Always Innovating Touch Book is likely to go on sale sometime around late May of early June.
