AKAT-1 brings back memories of Analog Computers

Now that we have been seeing a barrage of technological developments, how would you like a retro computer that can't even play Spacewar? Well, this retro computer may help us to look back in to the past and history of the beginning of computers. This analog computer called the AKAT-1 can solve relatively complex differential equations in real time and doesn't need the complex digital logic. However, time has passed and now it is resting its heels in the Museum of Technology, Warsaw, Poland. Though it is easy to dismiss a product like this, we must remember that analog devices are still sometimes preferred by some people for their warmth and instantaneous response.
