MacBook Air is the thinnest, most beautiful, no exaggeration - but when it comes to expandability options then it gives users some serious headaches. It’s got USB ports which can’t accommodate all of the USB devices being fractionally smaller than standard ones. Here is a 7.75” USB 2.0 extension cable designed specially for plugging normal USB devices to MacBook Air. AirQueue, which comes from Synchrotech, and is only certified USB 2.0 extender cable for Synchrotech’s MicroU2E USB ExpressCard reader (doesn’t mean that others won’t work). It’s priced at $6 which is quite absurd for a small 7” connection cable, but then, MacBook Air is not all that cheap, also.
