Airbus plans transparent passenger planes to let you see the world around

After the announcement of fuel efficient fantasy planes, which would have interiors with holographic displays and virtual decors in a lightweight body, Airbus has revealed its visions to build passenger planes with completely transparent fuselage. On a push of a button the captain will send electrical pulse through a hi-tech ceramic skin making the body (cabin, roof, walls and floor) of the plane transparent for the passenger to enjoy a 360-degree view of the world outside. While the concept seems far-fetched the engineers at Airbus are all geared up to make this concept a reality. I hope they do, I’m floored by the idea.
