Six turbofan jet engines trigger the 400-ton behemoth during takeoff and landing. Designed by Igor Pasternak, Worldwide Aeros Corporation, this two-football-fields-long concept airship is expected to kick off its first voyage by 2010 at an anticipated top speed of 174 mph, taking 18 hours to cross the continental U.S. The hydrogen fuel cell powered propellers effectively kill the noise. Tracking through space on such a ship in itself is an unforgettable fiesta but if that’s not enough passengers can also feed deep on luxury staterooms, restaurants and a casino.
