This is a low-tech appliance from Added Touch which they call as the color changing spoons. The spoons are heat sensitive and they change their color when the food reaches 120 degrees F. That means you don't have to rely on the microwave to heat your food to a perfect temperature. That will surely cut some electricity bills I guess...!
Moreover the spoons won't melt in the food if you forget to get the pan off the flame...!
