We’ve heard a lot about the Nvidia Ion, apparently this is the only occasion we’ll see it in a system. Announced by Acer, their latest make, the AspireRevo is the world’s first Ion based desktop PC. Drawing power from an Intel Atom 1.6GHz 230 or 330 processor, the nettop delivers 1080p HD video and 7.1 audio, and runs Vista Home Premium.
For memory the PC is stuffed with up to 4GB of RAM and 250GB HDD, has six USB ports, HDMI output, and is capable of handling a plethora of computing functions like hi-def videos, photo sharing, gaming, thank Nvidia for that. There aren’t any pricing and availability details, but we guess it’ll be a cheap bet.
Other features include
• 802.11b/g Wi-Fi connectivity
• VAG output
• 4-in-1 card reader
• Ethernet
