Anyone following Acer’s developments would know that the manufacturer has been planning a tablet PC for a while. Now, surprising us all with the revelation, Dubai-based Shufflegazine showed us Acer’s new device that looks like an e-reader but according to the Acer CEO Gianfranco Lanci, is an Android-powered tablet. Revealed in a presentation in Beijing, the 7-inch tablet has a colored touchscreen, possible 3G connectivity and an unexpected QWERTY keyboard. There was nothing revealed about the specs and pricing, but Lanci mentioned in the presentation that the tablet can be expected toward the end of the year, fourth quarter of 2010 that is.
