It’s time for more leaked information, and it’s about the Acer Hornet this time. If the claims of Donanim Haber are believed, owing to what the Turkish website reports, the Hornet is Acer’s Wiimote-style gaming console with a remote control.

Capable of being mounted on the back of a LCD display, the Hornet is an Nvidia Ion-based Atom-powered nettop device, which can play a plethora of PC games and has a HDMI output. Priced at about $199 to $399, the device will launch sometime in the first week of April, giving an opportunity to all who haven’t undergone the Wii syndrome a taste of how the Wii feels.
