Acer Aspire 5755 is one notebook to wait for in the UK

Almost a week back Acer announced the launch of the ultraportable TravelMate 8481, which will make its debut in the UK soon, now again to ravel the notebook market, Acer has announced the launch of another new notebook in the Aspire series - the Acer Aspire AS5755. This Acer Aspire AS5755 notebook is based on Intel’s Huron River platform, and has a normal size of 15.6-inch 1366 x 768 display. Drawing power from, a choice of, Core i3 and Core i5, or Core i7 processors, the notebook includes 8MB of cache memory and an Intel HD 3000 integrated GPU.

Acer Aspire AS5755 has a LED backlight display with Cine Crystal technology that has 200 nits brightness. This notebook has 8GB RAM and provides a storage capacity of up to 1 Terabyte. Its additional features include a Blu-ray or DVD player, NVIDIA GT 540M with Optimus technology, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The audio of the Acer Aspire AS5755 has Dolby Advanced Audio v2 certification,1.3MP web cam and a multi-format memory card reader. The notebook dimensions are 15″ x 9.96″ x 0.99-1.30″ and its weight is about 5.74 pounds. It comes with a six-cell battery and is priced at £899 including VAT. Acer Aspire AS5755 is available in brown, red, black and blue colors to choose from.
